Perhaps it's because in reading the text I was able to meditate on her life easier and relate with her on particular points. I'm sorry that the movie did place a greater emphasis on her very authentic understanding of consecrated life as nuptial union to Christ. I think that's what I found most beautiful in reading her journal. She is so real about her vocation. She falls in love with Christ and marries Him, expecting to find in Him the authentic love of a spouse. Anyways, I found the movie a bit of a disapointment compared to the journal, yet her life and her spirituality is definitely an inspiration.DPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13195133313571297243noreply@blogger.com
